HP 9480m Core i7 4GB RAM 500GB
Thin at 0.75″ and weighing 3.56 lb, the 14″ EliteBook Folio 9480m Notebook from HP is built with an ultra slim profile and an all-metal design. It is powered by a 2.0 GHz Intel Core i7-4210U Dual-Core processor, allowing you to run multiple applications simultaneously. The processor also features a burst speed of up to 2.7 GHz and the system’s 4GB of 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM not only allows efficient multitasking, but also allows the computer to quickly access frequently-used files and programs.
Distinctive Features
Fourth Generation Intel Core processors are built for business. Whether it’s Core i5 dual-core processors, you’ll enjoy control, security, and remote manageability. These ultra-low-voltage processors are available at a price that makes sense. At just ¾ -inch thin (18.95 mm), it’s our thinnest EliteBook yet. The HP EliteBook Folio gives you a 14-inch (355.6 mm) diagonal display with all the mobility you need. Whether you’re working in the office or on the go, the workday just got a whole lot lighter—and more efficient. Thanks to built-in VGA, DisplayPort, Ethernet, and three USB 3.0 ports, you can say goodbye to a bagful of dongles.
Totally Protected
With HP Premier Image, the full set of EliteBook business software and anti-virus protection are automatically included. You’re protected at every layer with HP Client Security. HP BIOS Vault keeps you running with enhanced protection against virus attacks. Access the Internet, corporate networks, and email in more places with optional integrated HP Mobile Broadband featuring 3G and 4G LTE. Take business further with consistent global configurations that allow for product standardization. Keep working even in dimly lit rooms or on red-eye flights, thanks to a full-sized, backlit keyboard.
Advanced Design
With enterprise docking capabilities, you can easily connect with a display, keyboard, mouse, additional ports, or printer when at the office, without the hassle of USB connections. Power through projects without worrying about recharging. The battery isn’t integrated so you can swap it out yourself. Plus, you can easily attach a slice battery and extend power for hours and hours.
Keyboard and Touchpad
At about 1.3 mm, the chiclet-type keyboard features only slightly less key travel than a “standard” notebook at 1.5 mm, but it certainly feels like even less. The keys are flat textured plastic with slightly below average feedback. The stop at the end of the keystroke is rather abrupt, but the noticeable keyboard flex lessens the perceived harshness. The rather large clickpad allows the fingers to glide easily and offers simple touch-gesture support (for example, scrolling with two fingers) as well.
